CPWA Enters first team tournament, 10 medalist 3 champions

The College Prep Wrestling Academy made an impressive debut at their inaugural tournament held on Saturday, May 20, 2023. The team achieved outstanding results, with a total of 10 medalists, including three champions in their respective weight classes. Notably, the Sanchez brothers, Jason and Jaxson, hailing from Brentwood, California, showcased their skills and dominance by securing flawless victories in their brackets, finishing the day with a perfect 3-0 record. Another rising star, 10-year-old Maya Tan, also triumphed in her bracket, leaving a lasting impression on the local wrestling scene. Additionally, notable placements were earned by Jayme Bareng and Rane Mitchell, who secured second place, while James Bareng, Mikayah Arrellano, Tristan Vasquez, Francis Manango, and Mason Marquez showcased their talent by claiming third place.
